AAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhh.......... I'm not going to get the blues looking at this one.Just so beautiful R !
Gorgeous! I think I'm going to copy your Paint First sign idea!
Wow! So beautiful! Your patrons will think the wait was worth it. Pay close attention to your sign.
I had never seen a hydrangea until I moved to New England. I couldn't believe the unbelievable shade of blue the flowers were, which you have captured perfectly in your painting. The format works great as well.
Blue hydrangeas are one of my very favorite flowers. I remember a pool I would visit often as a child had huge bushes lining the fence line. What a gorgeous site. Thank you for evoking such warm and fun memories with this beautiful painting!hugs!
The light on the petals and the transparency in the leaves in this painting are just wonderful!OMG - You're paint first sign is fantastic - I need one myself.

Love these blossoms as much as I do the ones I own. I grew up with these in our front yard in Brooklyn NY. they were the only relief from the cement of the city life. Great job, R!
Beautiful and well worth the wait! Love your "paint first" on the computer...mine will be "work with metal first". :)~ Kathleen Krucoff
Wow R! Here hydrangeas are also called Christmas flowers because they are in full bloom right now. The intense blue of these is incredible and I love the way you've caught the light on them so perfectly. Gosh, but you're good!Do you have copyright on that sign in front of your computer? I need one like that!
Hi Liz,Nope, no copyright-- so anyone who wants to print out a "PAINT FIRST" sign for yourself, go right ahead and let me know if it helps! It seems to be helping me!- R (:
Liz is so right... There's not much else to say, but "Gosh you're good!"I DO like the sign, too... Sooooooooo needed.I don't usually like hydrangeas, but these are spectacular... ...sigh..... gosh you're good.
