Living a Painter's Life
So cool. Not surprised it sold so quickly.
Nice, R... Absolutely love the composition. Also, you've inspired me to go to the local coffee shop tomorrow morning to fuel up.
You always amaze and inspire me, R!!
This painting is so interesting and creative! I see you love red cups too! Your work IS very inspiring!
What a coincidence.. I am doing a similar one with a lot of foam in my morning coffee and the cup being held in a hand :-)not yet finished..I love your version of a similar thought.. I could never think of those lovely marks left on the paper.. brilliant:-)
just wonderful in light and composition:)
this is an automatic favorite of mine--because I love love love both subjects--masterfully painted
Outstanding! 3 down is PERFECT.-Don
Wow! What suggestive detail (if you know what I mean!) Love the red and black.
I know why this sold quickly too, you get so much into such a small space...perfect!
This is really good R. I seem to remember a series of other cups of coffee ?? which I thought were incredible then!
Truly awesome. It's so tough to regulate type in a painting, and not have it take over. You're amazing.
Nice, looks like my breakfast table.
This is great! Congrats on the sale.
Wow, brave! no cord! i envy your spunk! this piece is perfect, I love the birds eye view, the cup rings and the copy. Amazing job my friend! Sorry it took me so long to show up.

The idea is great and the way you painted it, wow!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey R, thanks for your comment on my blog. Love this painting with the coffee cup and the NY Times puzzle, which I love to do. Not that good at sudoku though.Great painting!
So good and original these issues with the coffee.Which has influenced some work that I have painted.Congratulations
great coffee series. They all make me wishing for a cup. Not surprised it has all ready sold.
Oh! A subject after my heart: coffee and the NYT puzzle. (today's was a stinker)Love the clean faintness of the grid and that terrific red cup. The rings are a great touch. Feels like you are about to come back and work on the puzzle a bit longer.Congrats on the sale!
I was just thinking about you and dropped by.Always enjoy seeing the latest treasure you've created!!!
Beautiful piece R. Those coffee rings really create a lot of interest. I think I know what 25 across is in case you're wondering...ha!
