Congratulations on paintings that are sure to cheer all that view them! You must be a mind reader, I've been wondering what R has been up to, nice to see you!
Hi R! Good to see you've been busy! These are perfect for a Children's facility. They give subjects for parents to talk to kids about and keep their minds on why they are there.
Children naturally love butterflies and flowers and parents and adults will just appreciate the beauty, composition and serenity they feel when they view these!
You must be sooo proud to have your work enjoyed by all of the children and their families. I know they will enjoy the peaceful and beautiful view you've given them.
Glad to see you're still kicking! This really is beautiful, and just the right atmosphere for a children's hospital. I'm sure at that size they look impressive on the wall.
they are wonderful, so positive, energetic and most importantly imagination-giving... especially as it will be mainly kids who will be looking at them. r
I've missed your blogs. Thanks for posting your beautiful paintings. They will be a cheerful sight in a place that can be frightening and cold. Please don't stay away for so long.
R! So glad to see you! Like lunar cycles & the seasonal shifts in moods~ I think there is just a natural ebb & flow to the amount of time an artist can be "on" . It seems like a common theme on just about every single Blog I follow (myself included). It is a happy day when we reconnect :>)
Your latest works are gorgeous~ very light and uplifting! Are you spending more time in the studio now that you have 4ft. of snow outside?!!! haha ~Lots of love to you.

ReplyDeleteThis triptych turned out awesome! The hospital will be pleased with these cheery, colorful pieces!
I'm a fan of painting butterflies so these just spoke to me. The blooms and butterflies are rendered quite well!
I love how each painting has it's own color scheme going on (blue butterfly = blue flower).
Just lovely!

If these inspiring paintings are even one reason for your blog absence, you're forgiven.
